Gentle Max Pro Laser
The GentleMax Pro is a skin rejuvenation laser, reducing redness and pigmentation. The device uses 755nm Alexandrite wavelength with 1064nm ND:YAG laser energies producing an intense but gentle burst of light targeting the melanin (pigment) in the skin, treating vascular and pigmented blemishes.

Is the treatment safe?
The GentleMax Pro laser is very safe to use. People may experience some mild discomfort due to the heat pulse. There is a cooling device which provides comfort and helps protect the skin.
What does the treatment involve?
This treatment is performed in one of our treatment rooms.
The patient will be asked to wear protective glasses to protect their eyes from the laser.
A small hand-held laser will be placed against the skin, a cool mist will be felt followed by a laser pulse.
There is very little down time after the procedure. Some patients may experience some bruising, redness and blistering. If treating a lesion, a crust will form which after a week or two will fall off leaving the skin area red which will settle to a normal skin tone shortly after. It is important to protect yourself from the sun and wear sunscreen during and after this treatment.
How many treatments are needed?
The number of treatments will be determined by the type of skin condition being treated. For mild pigmentation 1 to 2 treatments is required. For more intense treatment 3 to 5 treatments will be required.
